Time flies!!!
秋もだんだんと深まってきて気温はめっぽう下がったバンクーバーですが、
読者の皆様はいかがお過ごしですか？
今日は、恋愛に関するフレーズたち20選！
早くも第二弾ですよーん。
でもって、今回は恋愛からちょっと横道にそれちゃった表現も織り交ぜております
（このブログを読んでくれている人たちがオトナであるのを前提に・・・）。

1. to be head over heels (in love with) (for) --- ベタ惚れする
I am head over heels for him..... I can't help it!
2. to fancy someone --- 憧れる・惹かれる (to be attracted to somebody の仲間）
She is clearly fancying him. Looked at her face!
3. to get hitched --- 結婚する（to get married の仲間）
They just got hitched! I never knew!
4. a fling --- （付き合ってはいないけど）短期間だけの体の関係をもつこと
Me and him was just a fling. I'm not in love with him.
5. to flirt with someone --- いちゃつく（友達同士の範囲以上のスキンシップ等）
My girlfriend seems to flirt with her boss.... I feel very uncomfortable.
6. to have an affair with someone --- fling 以上に真剣で、しかも浮気（情事と訳されることもあり）
My boss is having an affair with his secretary. That's disgusting!
7. to make out --- いちゃつく（キスする）
I cannot believe they were making out in the office!! I know they are going out but very unprofessional!
8. to kiss and make up --- 仲直りする
Whenever we fight, we fight like crazy, but in the end, we always kiss and make up.
9. to be made for each other --- お似合い
They are totally made for each other! Aren't they cute?
10. to be the one --- （結婚すべき・生涯を共にすべき）相手
She's the one. I know it. I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
11. keeper --- 失ってはいけない相手
He's a keeper. He changed you to be a better person. Hold on to him no matter what!
12. to pop the questions --- プロポーズをすること
A: He popped the questions last night.
B: What!? and....?
A: I said yes!
B: Oh my goodness! Congratulations to both of you!
13. to get over someone --- （別れた相手・振られた相手のことを）忘れる
I know I have to move on, but I just can't get over her yet.... I guess I need some time.
14. to steal someone's heart --- 誰かを夢中にさせる
A: The guy who played Superman in Man of Steel is hot..... he stole my heart!
B: So did mine!
15. to break someone's heart --- 誰かを傷つける・失恋させる
He broke my heart when I found out that he is taken.... his girlfriend is lucky...
16. to get hooked up with --- （ここでは異性と）遊ぶ（結構性的な意味で）
I got hooked up with a girl a few weeks ago at a pub. Turns out, she's a great girl. I'm seeing her.
17. to patch things up --- 関係を修復する（物を縫い合わせるという意から）
We were in a rocky relationship once but we've patched things up. It was a right thing to do. I want to marry her.
18. to cupcake --- 家でまったり過ごす
A: What did you do with your boyfriend last night?
B: It was pouring so we decided to do some reading. We just cupcaked.
19. to elope --- 駆け落ちする
I heard they had eloped because her parents were making her marry someone she didn't know.
20. to make a move --- （この場においては）気持ちを伝える・告白する
I know you are shy and afraid but if you don't tell her how you feel, she'll see someone else!
Come on, you have to make a move now!
